Chimpanzees Conservation Jane Goodall Research
I didn't have to think too hard about our November donation... it was (literally) staring me in the face this morning! As I flipped my calendar to the new month, this sweet guy appeared: This is the December image from the Jane Goodall Institute's 2020 calendar. It celebrates the 60th anniversary of her groundbreaking research on the wild chimpanzees at Gombe National Park in Tanzania. I'm not sad to see this strange year move on, but I will miss seeing these wonderful images each month. Hats off to Ms. Goodall and her team.
A Honey of a Month
What would Spring be without blooming flowers! So our April donation is going to The Honeybee Conservancy. Bees are vitally important and need all the help they can get: one in three bites of food we eat depends entirely on bees – and they are dying out. The Honeybee Conservancy is a non-profit organization that works to help bees, while increasing access to organic, sustainable food in under-served communities. Check out their website and see how you can help, too!
